David Ellis, PT

David Ellis is
the President and owner of Ellis Rehab Services and
recieved his B.S. degree in Physical Therapy from Texas Woman's
University. He has had a variety of experiences including Home
Health, hospital, outpatient and pediatric settings. He has been
owner of this company since opening as a single adult outpatient
clinic in Grand Saline in 1985. David has filled both treating
therapist and administrative roles in the company throughout its
history.

Lisa Williams, PT, ATP

Lisa Williams, PT, ATP, received her Bachelor of Science degree from
the University of Texas Health Sciences Center at Dallas in 1983 after
finishing her pre-physical therapy undergraduate requirements at Stephen
F. Austin State University. Her experience spans adult to
pediatric therapy with a concentration in early childhood intervention
and pediatric neuro-developmental physical therapy. She provided
school-based physical therapy for 9 years and is a RESNA-certified
Assistive Technology Practitioner. She has contributed
through her profession as a part of the 25-member American Physical
Therapy Association's Delegation to China in 2003, in an exchange of
both professional and cultural ideas.

transfer newly restored and learned skills into the very real context of
their home and education."

Amanda
Storer, PTA

Amanda Storer received her Bachelor of Science in
Applied Science for Physical Therapy from Centenary College of
Louisiana. She graduated from Kilgore College with an Associate of
Applied Science Degree/Certification and was licensed by the Texas
Board of Physical Therapy Examiners to practice as a Physical Therapist
Assistant. Her clinical work includes outpatient and
inpatient pediatric, outpatient adult, and acute adult rehabilitation.
She has received continuing education in Mobility Research LiteGait
training.

Leta Hollis, PTA
Leta Hollis, PTA, received her Associate of Applied Science in Physical
Therapists Assistant from Kilgore College in May of 1995. She has received
extensive continuing education in weight training, Swimex aquatic, sports rehab,
myofascial release, shoulder and knee problems, geriatric rehab, and wound care.
Leta has been able to observe several orthopedic surgical procedures which give
her a much better understanding of pain symptoms following a procedure.
"When someone comes to us, they have usually experienced a traumatic event. Our
goal is to help them to return to their previous level of activity in a
positive, uplifting environment. Using a team approach, we specifically address
each patient's needs as an individual."

Emily Boring, MS CCC/SLP

Emily Boring, MS
CCC/SLP received her master of Science in Speech-language pathology
from Stephen F. Austin State University. She has experience in
a variety of settings including acute inpatient rehab, outpatient
rehab, and long-term care. She is excited to be working with
children and their families. Emily feels that giving the best
care means including all necessary disciplines, as well as family
members in the process from evaluation to discharge. _______________________
Lara Hooper, MS CCC/SLP

Lara Hooper, MS CCC/SLP, did
an internship at M.D. Anderson head and neck department in the
summer of 2001 working with adults who had swallowing difficulties
(dysphagia) and communication difficulties associated with cancer.
Lara worked 3 years in Galena Park I.S.D. in the Houston area
in a public school setting evaluating, diagnosing, and treating
children (ages birth to 21) with a variety of speech and language
disorders. She recently received Beckman Oral Motor
training and certification. She earned her Master of Science in Communication
Sciences and Disorders in 2001 from Baylor University and a Bachelor
of Arts in Communication Sciences and Disorders in 2000 from
Baylor University.

Drew Boring, MS CCC/SLP

Drew Boring
received a Bachelor of Science and Master of Science at
Stephen F. Austin State University. His pediatric experience includes dysphagia treatment, language disorders, articulation disorders, autism,
oral aversion, stuttering, and augmentative communication devices.
Certifications include Vital Stim therapy, DPNS, and dynavox training.

approach as the child's development will allow. I like for the
parent/caregiver to understand what is happening inside the session so
that they can carry some of the techniques over to the home environment.

Ruth Fadely,
MA CCC/SLP

Ruth Fadley, MA CCC/SLP,
is a graduate of Wichita State University. She has 19 years of
experience providing pediatric speech therapy. She is experienced in
children who have diagnosis such as Cerebral Palsy, Cleft Palate, Apraxia, Down Syndrome, in addition to speech sounds (articulation),
language concerns, and others.

Emily
Jones, MA CCC/SLP

Emily Jones, MA CCC/SLP, graduated from
LSU-Baton Rouge in May 2006 with a Master of Arts in Communication
Disorders. Prior to graduation, Emily completed clinical rotations with
Early Steps, the early intervention program in Louisiana, in a Newborn
nursery at a local hospital and the ENT department working with head and
neck cancer patients. Other experiences include work with patients
following CVA's and other brain injuries as well as school aged children
with reading and language difficulties.

that encourage growth and development in the areas of weakness.”

Leigh Ann Cook. MS CFY/SLP

Leigh Ann Cook, MS CFY/SLP, graduated from
Abilene Christian University in 2008 with a Masters in Communication
Sciences and Disorders. Her clinical rotations included a variety
of pediatric rehabilitation settings, as well as rotations in the public
schools. Leigh Ann was involved in Longhorn literacy nights and
Camp Literacy, which are programs targeting school-aged children's
language and literacy development. She was also highly involved in
King David's Kids, an autism support group in Abilene, Texas.
Leigh Ann provided language treatment to children with autism as well as
others with Down Syndrome, FAS, and Selective Mutism.

Stefani Masten, OTR

Stefani Masten graduated from Washington University
in 2001 with a Masters Degree in Occupational Therapy. She has
been a part of the Ellis team since 2004. Stefani has worked in a
variety of settings including skilled nursing, inpatient rehab, and home
health. She is certified in Therapeutic Listening, Beckman Oral
Motor, and Handwriting Without Tears®. Other interests include neurologic disorders, sensory
integration, and feeding.

Traci Taylor, OTR

Traci Taylor earned her Master of
Occupational Therapy degree from Texas Woman's University in 1996. She
has over ten years of experience working in a variety of settings,
including acute care, outpatient rehab, and home health. She has worked
for over four years in the public school system and currently
specializes in pediatrics. Areas of continuing education include
Handwriting without Tears®, Brain Gym, Ready Bodies Learning Minds©,
and vestibular training. She was also recently certified in the
Therapeutic Listening® program. She believes in using a holistic
approach to meet all aspects of a clients and family's needs.

Laura Kraft, OTR

Laura Kraft, OTR, received her Bachelor of Science in
Occupational Therapy from the University of Texas Medical Branch and
completed an Advanced Pediatric Practice Certificate from Texas Woman's
University. Laura's primary experience is working with children in
the outpatient pediatric setting. She has training in Handwriting
Without Tears® and Beckman Oral Motor intervention and assessment.
Other areas of experience include: neuro-developmental treatment and
working with children with sensory processing disorders. Laura is
excited to have the opportunity to help children and their families
achieve their goals. She believes that each step of the way, no
matter how big or small, is an important part of the journey.

Ana Olvera, COTA

Ana Olvera, COTA, received an Associate of Applied
Science in Occupational Therapy Assistant Technology from Panola College
in December of 2007. Prior to graduation from the OTA program, she
graduated from Kilgore College with an Associate of Arts and Science in
June of 2005. She has received continuing education in animal
assisted therapy, oral motor, Handwriting Without Tears®, and Mobility
Research LiteGait training.
Throughout the OTA program, Ana had the opportunity to experience and
help treat patients with different diagnosis in several sites including Windridge (hippotherapy), school based system, two fieldwork rotations
at Good Shepherd Hospital inpatient rehabilitation and Ellis
Rehabilitation Just for Kids."I love and enjoy what I do! My patients are my
inspiration to grow as an Occupational Therapy Practitioner. Since
I am trilingual in English, Spanish, and sign language, my goal is to
provide my patients and caregivers with the utmost understanding,
effective and client-centered treatment, and to eliminate communication
barriers."
