As a provider of Rehabilitation Services, we promise to treat each client, family member, and employee in a respectful and caring manner while using comprehensive, personalized treatment programs aimed at achieving the highest possible level of recovery and functional improvement.

INTRODUCTION

We hope you will choose our company to provide your rehabilitation needs. If you do, you will find that we are interested in you or your loved one, and we will work together as a team toward maximum recovery.

The company was founded in May, 1985 as a single outpatient clinic in Grand Saline, Texas by David Ellis, a physical therapist himself. Through the years it has grown from two employees in a 1,000 square foot space to currently almost thirty employees staffing two clinic sites with a total of almost 14,000 square feet of clinic space, and an indoor heated therapy pool in each site. Services include Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy, and Speech-Language Pathology. David Ellis continues to be an active, vital part of the company as the President, and Administrator, and also spends a portion of his time as a treating clinician.

The Grand Saline outpatient clinic is mainly devoted to the treatment of adults and athletes and includes a staff of full time licensed professionals. The clinic accepts Medicare, Medicaid, and most insurance plans. We are members of quite a few insurance networks and have applications pending with several other managed care networks.

The company's newest clinic site, located at 5609 Donnybrook in Tyler, behind the Lowe's shopping center, is solely devoted to treating pediatric patients. Ellis Rehab Services, "Just for Kids!" was the first facility of its kind in the Tyler area and has become known according to many physicians as the premier facility treating children in the region. The Company employs highly specialized pediatric therapists in the areas of physical, occupational, and speech therapy who utilize neurodevelopmental treatment techniques, sensory integration techniques, and aquatic therapy in addition to their conventional therapy treatment techniques.

Our pediatric facility opened at a temporary location in Tyler in September, 1998 and moved into a new building in January, 1999. The facility quickly outgrew their new space and moved in March, 2001 to a beautiful new 8,300 square foot building located in the Donnybrook South Business development off of Rieck Road and Broadway, behind the Lowe's shopping center. The new building was designed and constructed especially with children in mind. This freestanding facility is not affiliated with any hospital or other group but has agreements with a number of health care insurance plans in the area and is pleased to provide the Tyler - East Texas area with a much needed service for special needs children.
